BIONAUTILUS
In the Bionautilus exhibit, you can take a 3D flight in real time through the human bloodstream. Your mission is to destroy deadly cancer cells. A range of modern drugs are at your disposal. The drugs need to be docked onto the cancer cells‘ receptors. The difficulty lies in reaching the target quickly and without suffering any damage: collisions with red blood cells or the danger of thrombosis make the task trickier. The computer game is displayed over three screens and uses a combination of 3D real-time environment and real film. Chris Lange worked for ARCHI-ME-DES and was responsible for design of this unique experience.
